  1. I see everyone's point here. I agree, guns were too cheap and some illegal item needed to be added to crafting. However, I think we went too far in the other direction. Firing pins are waaay too expensive, and kinda just unnecessary. I get the idea, raise the prices of crafted weapons but why not just add more items to craft it? Like I get the uranium and agree it should be there but firing pins should not.

  2. I think you guys are comparing what you have to how everyone else who started almost a month ago.

I speak for our group when I say we started with 2 guys, went to 4, then 8, 10, 17, 24, etc

We started with the low gear like everyone else, we had the shitty trucks, no backpacks, etc. Having a few people to play with didnt make it "easier" because it was more money but spread out more ways.

How do you succeed? Talk to people, recruit members, make deals, etc. Thats part of the fun. We've had a few small gangs call us asking for tips, asking if we could assist and 9/10 times we do.

Of course the grind gets a tad easier when you have trucks, planes, etc but we all started in the same place. Branch out, meet people, and you may find yourself with a few new friends. Dont blame the economy and it not being fair just because you started a little later.

See Im for having an 8 man limit for all activity for gangs. Anything more then that is unfightable unless the other group is of equal or greater numbers. I also like the idea that it might make for new groups to form instead of everyone circling around the same core groups on anzus and that offers more competition that everyone complains we dont have.

Yeah - I think limiting all gang stuff to 8 would be a bad idea. Limiting how many you can play with etc, isn't fun. Only thing I could see is like majors and conflict but conflict already has a cap of 8.

If 8 man rule gets aded you might aswell disband CTRG

  5. Type of Suggestion?: Server Suggestion

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?

Conflict right now is terrible to play, when like 25+ people are going after the same one or two points its completely Armageddon, lots of VDM, etc Often two cap points spawn basically on top of each other and its just chaos. Revert to the 5.0 conflict, bigger zone, more cap points and if we can't fix the combat stance issue, or fire rate issue revert back to spawning at conflict rebel and getting out your own karuma. Also for the time commitment its fun, but the payouts are too low.  We played conflict twice the last few days, when we came in first got $7500 - that's for like 45 minutes of constant shooting for 6 people and the 2nd time we  came in third and received $3500. It should be a bigger  award for  more participants. Both times we have 20+ people playing in conflict.

Solution on how to make this work?: Make conflict a bigger zone, add different cap zones, fix combat stance and fire rate issues, increase payouts.

Pros & Cons?: Pros: Players will be happy.

It feels empty to the police because illegal runs aren't worth it. And instead of buffing illegal runs they nerf legal ones, that people are going to keep doing because illegal runs are just worthless period. Trick used to do blood diamonds/uranium but not anymore because why? Why do a run that's effectively longer, higher risk, can't do due to CG limit, or pays the same?

Regardless, most of the good class 3s once they release require uranium, so there is illegal runs that people will need to complete to craft which you can crack down on.

They're empty because illegal runs don't have enough of a benefit.

Day number two of 7.0....48hrs in and the police were already raiding illegal runs. Myself? Raided and arrested probably 6/10 runs for weed. So why would I continue? Not to mention I was robbed and killed probably 2/10 times... Almost making it worthless. My 200k truck was impounded on day 3....again because I was raided at Marj pro and that costs 10k just to get out. It was a struggle to even get ahead because cops were raiding multiple times per day or I was getting robbed.

Cops have it more easy then ever. They are now forcing officers to ask if someone wants a plea deal/work with CID.... This is essentially gaining them all locations as quickly as possible and raiding them as such. So when cops whine about they have nothing to do or don't see anyone, this is why. Civs are not getting near a benefit to even do illegal runs. So they go legal.

Personally, I did gas stations and made more money from it.

  7. I mean....I get there has to be some tweaking for sure. Did a major labs and got 13k....Like wat. Gas stations pay 4-5k. The eco is a bit more grindy, I don't get why Gang hideouts quadrupled. 2mill for a hideout is nuts for what it gets you. I understand warehouses at that prices for sure.

With that being said, we're like 12 days into 7.0 and people that are expecting millions or even hundreds of thousands are cracked. This eco needs to last the year... Yes, it feels grindy but thats for a reason, to now allow people to already be driving around in high end cars and being able to purchase whatever they want. Its a fine line.

  8. Type of Suggestion?: (e.g. server suggestion, server rule suggestion.) Server Suggestions

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it.: Currently VIN Scratched vehicles do not show up anywhere on someone's profile or ownership. They are being used widely for storage of illegal items and kept in lots or hidden around the map. This creates essentially unlimited undetectable storage for LEO's or anyone else. Currently there is no way possible for LEO's to find VIN scratched vehicles, leaving them a 100% risk free and essentially space is unlimited.

Solution on how to make this work?: A way needs to be added to ensure Vin Scratched vehicles are able to be traced, eg. Registration can still be found as the vehicle would have been purchased at some point, the vehicle if vin scratched would show as a report when it was stored into a parking lot. Enable LEO's to "Search" lots looking for VIN scratches, etc

Pros & Cons?: Pro's - assists the economy and prevents people stock piling in a way is untraceable and no risk whatsoever, and may make some crims unhappy but if you do illegal things, there should always be risks.

I understand that, but there is a better way to have this where its better for both sides. I can understand being a civilian and having no chance at hours of work being yoinked away. But anyone who loots cops should be insta house raided, perma jailed and executed on the spot.(Kinda joking but no one should rob cops). More looking to make it better for people who are getting raided as a result of an investigation.

This is wild that this post is even being entertained. We don't just raid houses for any reason. We already have some of the most checks and balances over most FiveM servers. And raids are not just 'done', an investigation takes place, a report is put together and a warrant is granted by the DOJ - There is so much roleplay around these. In this particular person's case they chose to carry around illegal firearms, showing them to people who they don't know, openly talk about things they illegally own, etc OR decide at some point take police equipment off a cop and get busted with it, they should 100% get raided.

This is not ARMA, we should not be 'allowing to defend' - That is not roleplay. In what world do the crims get to know when police are coming to take their stuff after being dumb with it. No where. Crims need to understand if you continue taking shit from cops, doing dumb things openly YOU WILL GET RAIDED. I watched two people standing at ALTA Apts yesterday with Class 3 on their backs. Do you think that adds to the server? That its realistic? I hope not. People like that deserve an investigation and to be raided for standing out in the open with class 3 weapons.

I've been hearing about it, but not seeing it quite like this, but crims who are whiny because its "unfair" after being stupid, don't deserve to be entertained by this.
Posts likes this are very discouraging to the police force and the POP issues.

  10. DA Oliver Shaw co-council of ADA Kelvin Levington for the prosecution.

    Re:

Motion to suppress - I implore that this motion be denied, as this is an inevitable discovery and the defendant has not even been provided evidence at this time, as the prosecution will during the discovery period. I'm unsure as to what else the defendant means by this statement.

Motion for dismissal - The MSP has no reason to be blamed in this case, as the defendant failed to execute and follow his required duties as outlined in his SOPS. The defendant had no reason to interfere or interact with the civilians at all, the defendant acted on his own accord, became involved in the situation without permission and acted outside of his jurisdiction. As you will see the gross misconduct and criminal negligence is substantial to warrant a trial and these charges. The fact the defendant is claiming he didn't know how to fight, proves he was out of his depth and clearly unsuitable to perform law enforcement duties.

The evidence provided will appear to show that the defendants actions were not reasonable for this situation. There were no attempts to utilize less than lethal, show any type of warning, etc to the unarmed civilians.

Motion to Discover - No objections from the prosecution.

Prosecution awaits a judge to be assigned.
