Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: As of right now my experience with the Texas map might be limited but a couple things i noticed straight away.
The Mexican side is rather empty, and doesn't hold any value in comparison to the American side.
there are in my eye's only 1 reason to go south of the border, and that's the sulfur mine. the cocaine processing can be done in ur warehouse up north.
the uranium mine as well has some value but there are more profitable routes then uranium. and if the border is manned running this is almost impossible.

in my opinion there should be 2 proper established towns then just some thrown together assets. that should resemble a village / city.
these should include the normal setup (bank, ATM, supermarket, gas-station, paycheck Centre)

make some player housing also available down south.
(think about closed off compounds where expensive housing is located so that gangs / groups can think of these as potential locations for their operations)

I think there should be some more resources legal / non legal down south of the Mexican border so you have the idea i have to travel down south to get X (think about moving all drug seed locations only available down south. (whereas u can still sell up north) possibility is also moving the illegal goods port in the Mexican side so the gangs have to cross the border with "their cargo"  giving the border some function.

Solution on how to make this work?: Most of my requests are just relocations request of current assets on the map.

Pros & Cons?: Mexico will have an actual use, the border could have some use, and people might have the idea to go to Mexico.

The far travel between left side of island and right side, it kinda needs more then 1 road to cross over.
