  1. Roleplay is cool. This is not a good idea, complexity doesn't inherently imply it adds roleplay. The current system already being flawed with the solution being to add more mechanic shops was a red flag. I would love to see the current system perfected with the addition of a "bennys" like system, one that can be used but is not as effective or nessasary as normal shops.
     

     

  2. Type of Suggestion?: Server Suggestion

    Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it.: There is currently a massive gap in performance within the same class IE an average S class against the best S class could be up to a 37-second gap on a 3-minute track. This has led to track times and lap records already being distorted IE a below avg racer being capable of breaking a lap record. (To clarify this is not a skill issue 😭🙏)

    Solution on how to make this work?: Balance each class, there should be a gap of tenths of a second between cars in the same class.

    The most recent update is beyond confusing. Failing to keep cars similar in performance while doing irreparable damage to the economy by raising the prices of cars that are already owned has been rough. Regardless car classes need to be undoubtedly close in performance.

    Pros:

    1. Fair Competition: Balancing each class will lead to fairer competition, where drivers of similar skill levels can compete more closely.
    2. More Exciting Races: Narrowing the performance gap within a class can lead to more exciting and unpredictable races, as the outcome won't be heavily influenced by the choice of car.
    3. Accurate Lap Records: Balancing classes ensures that lap records accurately reflect the skill of the driver rather than the inherent advantage of a particular car.

    1. Challenges in Implementation: Achieving a balance between cars in the same class can be challenging, requiring thorough testing and adjustments to ensure fairness.
    2. Potential Resistance: Some players may resist changes to their favorite cars if it means a decrease in performance, leading to potential dissatisfaction within the gaming community.

    I am a dirty criminal! I do not currently play a character that is a cop keep that end in mind when reading my observations and suggestions.

    From my understanding, interceptors have been widely discussed and most likely are already being worked on. The suggestion is more so to encourage the implementation ASAP. Just to also preface that I think with the implementation of Interceptors no changes would have to be made to normal PD cars. PD interceptors with enhanced performance to address the issue of cars outclassing pursuit mode cop cars is a valid approach to maintain the balance between law enforcement and criminal vehicles in high-tier situations. Here's a breakdown of the suggested interceptors and their features.

    I am aware that I am an outlier due to the amount of time I have had to improve my driving skills. But with this time I have also developed an eye for understanding when the car is keeping up or the driver is. With this skill, I have personally observed the cars that are widely available to the PD being very underwhelming. I have not felt pressure from cops in chases for quite some time.

     

    Solution on how to make this work?:
    Add 3 interceptors to both departments' fleets with strong points and weak points ensuring balance, progression, and counterplay.

    BALANCE AND FAIRNESS IS IMPLIED

    All interceptors should be slightly better than all civ cars regardless of their strong suits. Their strong suits are to add counterplay and progression as previously stated. The coquette would be the last car unlocked via promotions within the unit, the dominator takes the coquettes straight-line speed, and the dominator takes the coquettes handling.

    Training/Firewall:

    Law enforcement officers should undergo specialized tests to effectively utilize the advanced features of these interceptors. This test would enable them to maximize the vehicle's capabilities during pursuits and ensure safety for both officers and the server health. It is absolutely imperative that the firewall to interceptor cert is a strong one. This will ensure that these cars are not being abused, or driven in a confusing manner, and offers progression/accomplishment. This goes with saying that they need to be able to properly weigh fairness every second of a chase.
