In order for me to get my money back I will have to go through the rigmarole of submitting an IA dispute with a senior police officer or worse take the officer who impounded the vehicle to court - both lengthy processes.

    +1

I had a similar shitfest at the start of 7.0 with an LEO wrongly seizing my BMW that got dragged out for 3 weeks because I had to go through the IA report form all the way up to the Colonel himself intervening and then DOJ just to get the strike removed, didn't even wanna bother spending anymore time on the suing part considering how lengthy the rest was.

I 100% agree the impound fee should be capped at 10k like insurance.

If the idea of the 75k in this case is just to deter people from using them at Majors then that's the purpose of the strike function imo, the 75k is just ridiculous.

  3. +1 I definitely feel the rules of the 2.0/3.0 era (I didn't play 4.0) were definitely a better time honestly. Just to give an example I had a friend who played 2.0 Kamdan briefly return the first days of Texas and try out the server, first thing he said was he couldn't believe the length of the rules for how quickly someone will pull a gun on you and beg for the opportunity to shoot you rather than have any dialogue whatsoever.

I seen Chang mention above that the Anzus FiveM ruleset was perfect and I agree, a shorter set of rules that allow for more roleplay opportunities are definitely needed what with the early days of Texas still happening. I feel a lot of the rules over the years have been added because people always try to skirt the rules and in return staff would just add more rules to the point we're at now where the rule page is massive..

Just a small change I would suggest is letting some job vehicles be used for Major Crimes, I think the possibility of robbing the SilverRush Dallas Casino and then taking free passage only to have one of your guys block off a narrow street with a bus/garbage truck to break chasing cops line of sight to allow a car swap and you to escape is something that I think would be cool compared to the current rule meta around majors which boils down to people Q+E'ing a hallway or taking free passage to attempt to lose a ridiculous amount of cops with free passage with no setup/getaway plan possibilities, a la FiveM servers do.

I always thought events like these were randomly placed. Are they not?

Cocaine Shipment isn't to my knowledge. It has 2 spawn points, one at the island below the dam between mexico and US. The second is below Houston on top of DB's warehouse. The container is at most about 60-120m from their building lol

  5. +1, there's no joy in grinding steel or tobacco. At least with the likes of Blood Diamond and Uranium there's a risk of getting caught but the current money for both is not worth that risk when steel is a no risk run not mentioning the constant sadness when you can't mine BD because there isn't enough PD unicorns on to mine it..

major buildings in big citys do not help the frames theres a reason i get more frames at the majors far away then i do the ones in the city

Basically this. I 100% agree Tariq. We go through this song and dance every few .0's I feel where the suggestion to move National Bank, the key example building out of the Main City or the city its in because its just not enjoyable to play. I cannot understand why we don't carry this knowledge across to every new map and have no majors in any city when this has been an issue on and off since 3.0. There was several reasons why 3.0 Fort Knox was out in the open by itself, not surrounded by a mini town, gas station, warehouse and houses/trailers.

My feelings are hurt. But, we already +1'd the other suggesiton

I'm sorry William, you and Ken are cool and there is enough to mine when either or both of you are on. But as soon as I see both of you disconnect my pickaxe won't work anymore for some reason 💀

Hate to break it to you, but DEA doesn't even have access to 5.56 SOST nor 7.62 weapons and I promise you, as the business owner of KD, any cops that have been seen with LMGs have paid excruciating amounts of money to own that gun and there's only 5 that can do so. Ask @Alexis Sanchez how many times he came by, dropped $120k only to lose the gun within 30 minutes.

Alexis was the best at buying guns and losing them the very next second a shot rang out lmao
