  1. Honestly, like the illegal runs buff, just buff it by like 5-10k cash maybe take on Daniel Luciano's suggestion as well. It is quite a hard thing to do if you get the whole truck to yourself. Most often (From what I've seen) is several gangs / police fighting over it before border and then the whole border thing... blah blah. 

    Overall +1, gives combat andys some more action to do.

    Suggestion was made to be big af storage low speed, works out similar to higher speed 1.X k storage depending on eco teams views (Btw Eco team happy to provide my runs speadsheet reach out via discord)

    Oh great 2-3k less... Lee that isn't exactly lower.... That just takes off like 500 an hour? You can earn 500 an hour more with either +5 carry weight or extra backpack... aka it makes shit all difference in the grand scheme

    Solution on how to make this work?: Add axing to leaderboard like mining farming crafting etc.

    Pros & Cons?: Pros: flex another stat, Cons: another stat that will show how useless grinding stats is.

    Solution on how to make this work?: Add it like its mining except for the different tree chopping areas.

    Pros & Cons?: 0 cons all pros, you can harvest faster at a select area for  the hour.

    I've spoken to I think every single port employee and they can't give me lower fees. No one that is sane uses the port anymore but fair enough then.

  7. The number displayed can't be profit, it's total money given, the profit is payout - costs. Which payout is X - fees as you said, but profit is payout - fees aka (X-fees) -fees or X - (2 x fees) 

     

    Buying a contract should just be you pay any gov fees to be able to sell items at the listed price, why is it pays fees to sell at listed prices - fees? You end up loosing like 7.5% of the contract stated value at the 6400-6500 ish steel contract range. I really hope illegal contracts aren't the same fee wise otherwise you are barely making profit compared to npc as I rarely hear more single digit percentage on those. 

  8. Will explain it here so everyone understands if they read it. let's say fee is 10k, item amounts * item value = 100k. You pay 10k to get the contract but the total payout is only 90k, so in reality you can only earn 80k as profit. Logically speaking if something is a fee you pay it once and get everything at listed price. Steel for example works out to be valued at 30.5$ in terms of money you actually receive when list price says 33.

    Solution on how to make this work?: Make this info more available to all.

    Currently you pay for the contract. Then the total payout for the contract is the listed sell price * amount - contract fee. Why? You already paid the contract fee.

    This is part of my WIP run calc, the figures match.

    should also just buff contracts back to 155% they would be boosted up to 40k an hour but oh no legal buff! cant have that. Also mega factory about to make it like 200k+ an hour but oh no scary legal buff....

    Solution on how to make this work?:

    Just remove it taking it out from the contract and just the 1 time fee. Aka profit in that screenshot should look +16k more. 

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: Contract figure amounts actually make sense.
    Negatives: Combat tariqs screaming on discord that "Oh legal buff legal buff" Bro you can make 150k an hour multiple different ways illegaly. Just allow legal to be at 33k or so instead of 30k it barely affords a class 3 after 6 hours.

  11. I asked already to no response, and the last suggested xp is not in after nearly 2 months since approval. Im sending it in, worst case scenario this can just be deleted.

    If this doesn't get approved, I will just make more suggestions regarding mining levels, as its just completely shit anywhere after 40. Legit once 1 person gets to 65 and mining is meta this is what the leaderboard will look like. Because its not worth it at all to get higher then 40.

    Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: (try use an example of what has happened in-game) Mining is fucking boring, High level is pointless af when its gonna take more then 12h straight mining at either steel orannge zone, ruby orange zone, or iron orange zone, more hours if its anything else. This is whilst using a starmetal and ornates. Takes way to long just to get an extra +1 drop. Doing this method you can get from level 40 mining to 50 in about 5h... You make xp faster at a lower level. Yet very minimal point to even get that extra +1 drop.

    My suggestion is to change mining xp to reflect on how many drops you get. My ideal would be 1xp + 1xp per 2 drops. 

     

    Solution on how to make this work?First would be to remove any multiplier by the picks because they give drops anyways. 

    Would take a little bit of difference as I don't know SQF that well, but i'll put it in Lua terms for the devs, local xpGained = 1 + math.floor(dropAmount / 2) 

    If you want it less op then just ceiling round (dropAmount/2), would look like the table below except shifted down one, e.g lvl 90 is 5 lvl 70 is 4 lvl 50 is 3 lvl 30 is 2 lvl 10 is 1 lvl 1 is 1.

    All this would mean is rounding to the floor (Anything that isn't 2 is rounded down to 1, e.g 1.99 rounds to 1) and +1 to make it so that you cant get 0 xp. 
    lvl 1 = 1xp
    lvl 10 = 2xp
    lvl 20 = 2xp
    lvl 30 = 3xp
    lvl 40 = 3xp
    lvl 50 = 4xp
    lvl 60 = 4xp
    lvl 70 = 5xp
    lvl 80 = 5xp
    lvl 90 = 6xp
    etc etc you get the point. Doesn't factor in mine amount perk, doesn't factor in collect luck burgers either.

    Keep the picks at the same drop amounts if you must but really should be buffed +1 cobalt onwards... that being +1,+1,+2,+3,+4 for bronze,cobalt,vibranium,demonic,starmetal currently. 

    While were here would love to make sure there is no level cap for mining, I feel would allow for mining to have the protentional to actually be useful in the long run.

    Could also be changed to cater for if you don't want above level 99.

    Pros & Cons?
    Pros:
    - Mining will actually make sense, with lower levels getting sort of zoomed past instead of taking days and days
    - Higher drop amount means something more then just a bigger briefcase on the floor
    - Mining using a default pick is actually decent at gaining xp. 
    - Pickaxes make sense to have at all levels, but still doesn't make them worth the time required.
    - Level 99 is possible.
    - Skill check game means something at every level.

    Cons:
    - Oh no scary lower level mining with an expensive pick!!!! fast ish xp!!!!! oh no!!!! (Would actually be a nerf but combat andy logic.)
    - Could potentially ruin formatting of levels on stats page as if mining cap is removed then level 100 mining may look funny.
    - Current mined xp would be done at 4x harder rate, RIP.

    Your point is that you wouldn't store your prized items and rather die with them on you just so you can complain that you lost them when you had MORE than enough time to store them and gear up to defend your base being raided.

    You point makes no sense whatsoever.

    Someone would glitch in or lockpick or some exploit then bam my items gone, If you want to personally comp the 1.5m for pick and backpack right now then okay fine.

    Let's be honest, there is NOT enough gang vs gang events/things to do on the server. Gang vs Gang is what was the most fun part of the server all those years ago, a fight that you're not risking being arrested for 20+ minutes and instead you go to have a fun, good, fight that leaves no risk other then losing whatever kit you bring to the fight. Weapons Cache would be an alternative to this but weapons cache does not get love at all because 90% of the time you go there you either see no one and get a pistol out of the crate or you go and lose people for the cost of a pistol. This major would allow for the winning gang to be compensated for their kits and a good time.

    I have absolutely analed with illegal runs and the rest. My luck is below terrible. I would end up with the pick and backpack and axe on me when someone raids and I would lose it. This is my point.

  14. I swear cop numbers are completely fine with late AU / early EU times. Nick something as a cop is the only one to actually pull me over as a cop. EU timezone. 6-8 cops all the time. Im doing uranium runs just hoping I don't get pulled over.

Going to bump this a bit, but thought I'd add as a comment as to how much getting NOT EVEN a 1k truck costs. 1.5m for the truck, 6m (rounded) to apply t4 and modshop fee which bumps to 145km/h (from memory modshop can confirm but it was mid 140s) and 994 storage. NOT EVEN 1k. So 7.5m. Don't forget the t4 engine itself. Which I know of 3 within the server. At best you could get it for 1m, but very unlikely another will be found until close to 7.3. Lets say its price is 1m, thats 8.5m total for 994 storage. Your telling me that not even 1k storage is worth 8.5m? Nearly half the cost of a mega factory, or 1/10th to max the factory just for one person to get 144 extra carry weight on a single truck? I thought getting the extra 100 space for 700k was expensive.

    I'm sorry what? Incredibly short sighted comment. There is an 850 slot truck and a 750 slot plane that exists mate, also grinding 20 mil with a 600 slot? A better question would be "how long till you give up?" Because that's ridiculous. 

     

    The purpose of a bigger truck is to allow the end game grinders to obtain something for the end game. By far the limitation unless processing changes is carry weight. It will be ages before anyone reasons 200 carry weight let alone in the 190s. Only 1 person is close to 186 carry weight only like 7 people are at 181 carry weight the rest are maxed at 171. If you don't understand any of what Im saying with this then you really should try to understand.

    Well I've had an 850 for a while, kinda expensive and was a massive grind. But always wondered why there wasn't a bigger truck then an 850, even something like 1000 slots. Now admittedly you can tier an 850 to just under 1000 slots, around 960 slots from memory, for 4.1m. or just over 1000 slots if you tier 4 it, but last I asked there was only a few t4 cars that existed on the server. Now 4.1m is ridiculous for 100 extra slots is also ridiculous. T3 600 slot is combined 800k, which is how much a 750 slot truck costs, and T3 750 costs more then 850 slot.

     

    The idea, add a new truck purchasable, my idea for what kind is a mining dump truck, like the ones around steel mine for those who don't know what I'm referencing. 

     

    Solution on how to make this work?:

    The said truck will be big, and slow, probably 80-90kmh top speed default probably 120ish when tiered, 2000-2500 storage depending on balancing, and cost upwards of 5 mil to purchase. I know I don't have final say on the actual numbers it would be eco team thing to do but I'm happy providing ideas. In saying that, a new truck that's more expensive then 1.5m needs to have heaps of space, but also needs to be on a similar cost per storage and can't be more then 2k per. 750 is just over 1k, but the 850 is 1.76k per slot. Anything more then about 2k per storage just wouldn't be worth it. The 850 isn't really worth it nowadays due to the fact that the impound is so high, it's slow, it's just takes ages to get anywhere, and it's 700k more then the 750 slot but only 100 slots, and well considering how little legal money can actually make it's just quite shit. Only way legal money is even worth it is turning it to crafting guns or cars, which is either hours and hours of crafting or hidden behind about 4 people (crafted cars).

     

    Idea behind this is that it provides grinders another truck or something to actually go for. Yes it would make contracts get slightly better money an hour but it's still limited by processing, which unless time decrease occurs outside of burgers it will always be the longest and most expensive part, unless there becomes a way for players to hold like 300 space or process an entire truck at once. My prediction is it could make contracts make like 35-37k an hour, maybe 40k. But if it costs 5m I think this would still not even be worth doing, because like I said processing takes the most time with legal contracts. If people really want the maths for predicted money or time saved I'm more the happy to provide the info. 

     

    Why do grinders need something to actually grind for? My prediction is that the mega factory won't be able to process the whole truck at once, or won't have an auto processor, or anything that reduces processing. And if processing won't be improved then let's allow for the other sides to be improved. Pickaxes / mining should be a different topic, and I'll elaborate on that in another post. Moving all the items to and from a warehouse / processor is the next step, which is just items moved / minute or hour, the higher the better obviously. Processing..... Then moving items to trader / export, same as moving unprocessed just different locations. Why is there no improvement on this that's a reasonable cost? (4.1m for an extra 100 ish slots is fucked, I don't think you could convince anyone to disagree with that).

     

    Pros & Cons?:

     

    Pros: late game content, big funny truck, maybe new heavy machinery license / roleplay required for it, better money per hour for legal runs, something new in terms of trucks, may make legal contracts actually get used again.

     

    Cons: too big for border (if mining dump truck) so can't do uranium but could be fixed later, basically no one would ever use it for illegal because would be 250k impound fee if 5m cost, plane is already better for uranium anyways, people would complain if it got added because it would be "too good" apparently because 40k an hour is too much for legal runs when 120k an hour is easily made right now, did I mention basically no one would end up getting it until like 7.4 because of the proposed 5m cost and that mega factory should be more worth the money then getting a truck, and did I mention that no one really uses their more expensive trucks for illegal runs anyways?

Cops constantly getting screwed over by lack of better weapons cars and ability to deal with things EX border is a sitting duck bc JTF can’t go far enough into Mexico to stop people from sitting on the side walls and shooting them along with there complete lack of cover at border….theres so many more but that’s a simple one 

    5.grinders and pvp people almost HATE eachother at this point there’s no middle ground anymore you either kill ppl rob or do majors or your sitting at steel grinding cash no incentive for either side to change 

    6. Its not really RP anymore in RP not everyone would have class 3s it would be a rarity due to the fact no legal gun store sells them no buddy talks like it’s RP anymore I agree to a point it’s becoming altis on a diff map I feel it’s a player attitude issue more then a SMT problem 

     

    THIS IS ALL MY PERSONAL OPINION if you disagree throw a decent comment down just screaming in Altis brain won’t get a convo going 

    Your 5th point isn't valid. Redo your homework the answer is wrong. 

    Also this is all entirely a player attitude issue...
