Type of Suggestion?: Rule Suggestion
Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?:
This suggestion is to make a rule against seeing, essentially making it metagame that someone has bought a firearm from one of the NPCs within the jail.
Example, you buy a pistol from one of the NPCs as a prisoner within the jail. > You do the usual animation of holstering a firearm, and or you fully have it in your hand in plain view.
What makes this worse, is the fact that you also have to reload the pistol as-well giving an extra step of being caught for getting that firearm.Solution on how to make this work?:
Either make an option to put the weapon in your backpack, remove the animation in its entirety or make it FailRP/Metagame to see the actions done right after you buy a firearm by the NPC within a certain radius.Pros & Cons?:
Pros:
No complaining from Prisoners from instantly being seen buying the only thing they're able to do something with regarding taking hostages, or initiating RP.
Prisoners are incentivized to try take hostages, or actively escape properly outside of being chased around 24/7.
Potential Cons:
No way to differentiate between someone buying a pistol or not, not being able to counter a pistol being bought with hostage situations essentially being guaranteed which could potentially be solved with a randomized system of the animation happening with a 50/50% chance?
Unsure of any other potential cons at this current time.- 4

Put on hold considering I was evidently given the wrong link/area for appeals by IA.

**DISCLAIMER: IF POSSIBLE, YOU MUST FIRST APPEAL INTERNALLY WITHIN YOUR DEPARTMENT
YOU MUST BE LISTED AS ACTIVE ON THE FLORIDA STATE POLICE ROSTER PRIOR TO DISCIPLINE (10 Hours a Week) TO PLACE A SENATE APPEAL**Information
Trooper's Name: George RandalOrganisation: Florida Department of Corrections / FSP.
Rank: Sergeant
Department: DOC
Badge Number (If Applicable): C-165
Punishment you were given: Written Warning
Grounds for Appeal (Why should it be overturned):
The grounds for appeal I was given is due to me "arresting" an individual by the name of Finn oNeil, and or extending his current sentence.
Within my evidence that I will support down below, you can see within the MDT that Finn oNeil had previously been processed by another Officer whos name I do not currently have access to and or know. However, what my evidence will show is me merely extending Finn oNeil's sentence and not actually sentencing the man to jail.
0:16 Within the video, you can see MDT logs including the original arresting officer and that Finn oneil was already in custody. Further more in the pnr.sc you can see the original arrest report for it as-well.
Any evidence to support this:
Have you requested reasons for your discipline (if yes, please paste them as a reply to this appeal): Yes, I asked for reasonings for the discipline in-game by the person who initially gave me the written warning (Mark Snow)
Do you know the case against you (have you seen the evidence)?: All I have been given is the reasoning for the written warning, but no proof to back it up.
Do you request the Florida Senate Disciplinary Appeal Committee obtain all evidence help by the government in relation to your case?: Yes
Please link your original appeal which must have been denied here: ?, I have not been given any other links by the individual who processed my written warning outside of a link to my Punishment Report and this SDA appeal area.
