i think you missed the point of the thread,
played both sides of this taki and i would much rather get de meloned / demelon someone after a major so i can get back to having fun/not have to drive to checkpoint to shoot someone in the head again.
medics get interactions from reving the cops who would of been dead at the major this would just cut out the 3min drive to checkpoint to shoot someone in the head and demelon them there instead of doing it at the major.

as soon as a civ uses a nade or rpg all you hear on freq is "i got a launcher" "i got a nade" and then all the civs are dead and there is still bunch of cops left....
respone numbers werent a problem last taki and nades and rpgs were a thing
but its also why i said response numbers should be boosted

more fair

people will want to do majors
people wont do a major then alt f4 cause 5000 cops rush 6 of them
servers pvp will stay alive abit longer
cons:
might be abit harder for cops to win majors but if we can just add couple of numbers to each major
response numbers have been a thing on every taki and the more fair we make taki the more people will enjoy it and keep playing

Screenshots/media: This video has better audio quality However, This map is MAJOR it is a huge Zone Meant to encourage CQC PVP and Fighting your way in to control the Flag on the point making it a monument to control / Capture / take over etc. Meteoroid Mountain Is meant to be a massive zone to control as it is hard to capture yet once you hold it you should have no difficulty fending off players trying to take it from you! The Controlling Side has the advantage in holding yet Players can push their way into the mountain and fight there entire way through to capture and control the Meteoroid Mountain!.. not trying to hate they look fun asf to cqc in but most people will be hiding in the buildings and towers not running around

You are going to not like this statement but most fights with military grade weapons at are not ArmA pvp run and gun; they take more time and involve more strategy; "gear fear" is good, it adds more value of life meaning you'll see people doing shit more realistic, taking their time and not zurg rushing like they don't give a shit. You don't see half the shit you see in anzus because people actual value their life in combat and try not to put themselves in positions that get them killed. If someone is worried to get killed cause of their gear they will be making more strategic manuavers.
Yes combat players won't like it because tbh they love the sprint around, lag rush and push methods. Combat will overall be more thought out; I know how horrible that you need to be smarter and more strategic in how you do your fighting.have you actually read the thread ?
you would see that us "combat players" are all for more rp but you have to understand this is arma not IRL stop acting like us combat players are just shutting down your ideas and attacking you.
if what you suggested happens the servers combat will die and it will be boring alot of players will either stop playing or just go to cop so they get cheap kits and can pvp
i myself have even got into crafting and i am not against most things said in this thread, read the thread jammal and come up with ideas that make both party's happy like everyone else has
strategic maneuvers= camping/roaching/making everything longer for no reason at all
most majors cops have to zerg or they wont win

what about the AU players when they get on and there is 0 craters on ? we are just gonna be forced into buying expensive guns.
this used to be a huge problem for me and other AUs in 4.0, I understand crafting is easier and less of a grind but i would be very upset if i come home from work and have no one on the island who is a craftier.
AUs would be forced into buying expensive guns from rebels and thats not very cool.
maybe things are different but i doubt there will be much people on during AU time in a week or two

This helps as most RP is in the cities (orlando, miami, St peterberg) so class 3s cannot intervene with this.
Also a no rob ban on legal runs or civ clothing. ONLY exception to this would be if you know they are doing illegal run so you see them growing weed, processing at cocaine, uranium trader.
i agree with class 3s not allowed in Orlando only (all the roleplayers stay in that city anyway)
dont limit us in the other cities its mad fun shooting cops in a city or having gun fights in a city roleplayers wont just be sitting in peterberg
should just be you cant use your class 3 within 1k of a blue zone (orlando)
i agree with the no robbing legal runs 0 need to be robbing that
p.s roleplay stops when the roleplayers stop roleplaying no idea how having class 3s cheap at rebel makes people not want to roleplay but is what it is

25k for a class 3 is ridiculous you’ll be doing a Knox and a payout will only just cover the class 3 you used if your lucky. Nevermind other majors won’t cover the cost of a class 3.
Conflict will completely die off if this becomes a thing so all the hard work you’ve put into conflict will be thrown out the window so if this becomes a thing you might as well remove conflict with it.
Not to mention the fact that people grew to hate crafters only for class 3s cause crafters could never keep up with the demand of the players wanting constant class 3s. It just doesn’t work. If crafters are offline and player has no class 3 they don’t want to play because they can’t get a class 3 to use or have to pay a ridiculous amount for a class 3 which won’t happen and will drive players away. Not all people want to have to constantly contact crafters for class 3s.
Anzus already has so many massive money sinks, don’t make another one.
Majority of people in 4.0 grew to hate SMGs and Pistols only in shops so don’t repeat that again.
I’m all for low tier class 3s being in shops for a reasonable price and higher tier being crafting but anything less than that is a big no from me.
Overall I feel Option 3 is the best one for Anzus as a whole and the longevity of Anzus alongside keeping the player base happy.

please if we do any of these options can we not limit someone on where they can use a gun.
honestly idc what option wins but i do not want to have to carry a class 3 and a class 2/1 at all times just in-case i get into a fight in a area i cant use a certain gun.
but option 3 is the best this didnt work in 4.0

I feel like if you make Elk a green zone you should make some other major cities or locations green zones as well, I dont wanna get robbed while im in the job center in kingston, or when I'm trying to buy a car at Kilmore Imports (which actually happened) also someone could just camp Atm's or dealseships all day, I think the money system is broken maybe if you do this you should up the pay on illegal runs to balance it out, I also think now we're making so much money off legal jobs Legal runs have become irrelevant

@Noremac Mitchell i hate to tell you the server dying has nothing to do with getting 500k at the start or the high tier vehicles that cost 5mil and dont re spawn the server died because of these :
- cops went way to crazy with there cool toys dont get me wrong go have fun with ur hectic jets/tanks but people were just straight up abusing the fact they have a hectic vehicle and would bomb/shoot unarmed civs or rdm people (i have the clips)
- cops had 0 response numbers civs would do a major 40 cops would come for 3 people (have the clip) response numbers should of been boosted by 2-3 cops
-cops just being straight up dickheads, roaching a major on taki while laughing at the civs while you blow up there fancy sport cars while the major is going on (happened 3 times and all times it was a high ranking cop telling us to do it... clipped aswell)
- using tanks/armed helis against 1 guy on a rock with a sniper.
-shooting anyone in the area in a gun fight not worrying about checking targets (we could be getting shot from the hills a unarmed civ will be standing in the town to the south and someone will shoot him with a rocket sure its fun for the cop sending him to space but for the civ he is just gonna alt f4 (two clips of this happening one with a rpg one with a 50 on a car both times the cops say "should i rdm "
but dont get me wrong civs being crackheads didnt help aswell (rdms,bombing checkpoint every min, exploiting to have bomb, crying)
- there should of been a 15min major timer (just so civs dont get free money from cops not wanting to go to a major back to back)
-civs should have to wait 30mins/15mins after they attack the checkpoint to attack again (lets the cops at border chill for abit)
-fix the bomb exploit so civs dont have 30million bombs (been reported)
-civs should have to announce they are attacking checkpoint on twitter 5mins before hand
but yeah people lost interest in taki because the cops over used there fun toys and just didnt give a fuck about civs having fun only there own fun, its actually crazy to see all the cops say civs are the reason taki died its just not true every single taki cops kill it and it happened again cops just need to admit it and maybe taki would last longer then 4 days every time we do it
(and no i played cop all taki i had maybe 30mins on civ)
