    When spending time in Alcatraz, I notice more and more why everyone hates going to jail. It's quite literally impossible to break out. You can't sell lockpicks or zipties. You can only sell trash. Please let me sell zipties and lockpicks to the guy in Alcatraz so it's not the lamest 20 minutes I have to spend in the server.

    Solution on how to make this work?:
    You should just bring back DOC being a forced requirement; BUT, let's start small. Allow me to sell zip ties and lockpicks to the fella in Alcatraz.

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: I'm not bored to tears in Alcatraz.

    Cons: Cops are mad they have to deal with me breaking out of jail every hour.

    I am being told by several people (mostly cops)((and again, this could just be a bug)) that ALL weapon crates and not just the donator ones are locked behind a monthly subscription. From what I was explained to in stream, the only crates that are suppose to be locked behind the paywall are the ones specifically listed for donators. This is just overall not a good look for the server especially since it is one of the key things in the update that combat players were looking forward too.

    Please fix this. I beg you.

    Solution on how to make this work?:
    Make it where anyone can purchase the weapon crates but still limit the donator crates to the donator.

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: Combat players everywhere rejoice. New content isn't locked behind a monthly paywall.

    Cons: ANZUS doesn't get money

    Description of situation:
    Server just came up. I started moving stuff from my warehouse to BluKing with the intention to make it into food. The server gets shut down without any prior warning or pings. I guess the rebel and gas stations weren't working; but, I wouldn't have known that since my route didn't involve any of those places. Therefore, this really can't be my fault.

    So, what I've noticed over my time hunting is that when you get to the higher levels, it becomes a hassle to even move up a skill point because you only get a certain set amount of XP per animal kill. So the problem with hunting is finding animals becomes a drag, hunting doesn't feel as fulfilling and all for some extra backpack space which can be utilized mostly in legal runs other wise you'll have a big target on your back (quite literally). An example is currently looking at the hunting leaderboards, it's been same 2 people at the top. Once Pablo knew he secured his lead over Vespyr because Vespyr quite literally burnt himself out on hunting, everybody stopped pushing for the higher level backpacks because it was so much work that generated way to slow over time.

    Solution on how to make this work?: The solution to our problem is the add a form of progression to hunting to make it easier for the hunters and something a little more fun to make hunting not the mind numbing rinse and repeat locate the animal. How can we add progression to hunting you may ask? Let's look at the mining hot spot zones. How cool would a 'Hunting Hot Spot Zone' be? For a set time, the zone has an increased amount of whichever animal for 30 minutes. Let's go a step further, you could do the same thing for illegal animals too.

    BUT WHY STOP THERE????

    Introducing Craft-able tiered hunting stands. Ranging Tiers 1 - 5 (because that's what you already use for hunting knives)
    To craft a hunting stand, you must be 15 Hunting and 15 Crafting. This gives you a Tier 1 Hunting Stand that the player (YOU) can place in any of the designated hunting zones. Once placed, it crates an area around the hunting stand that generates a higher animal spawn rate. These rates can vary and go up as you work towards a Tier 5 Hunting Stand. You can set the craft Levels as follow: Tier 1 = 15 H/C ; Tier 2 = 25 H/C ; Tier 3 = 35 H/C ; Tier 4 = 45 H/C ; Tier 5 = 55 H/C
    As it would stand, know one would be able to craft a Tier 5 Hunting Stand right off the rip. These levels of course can be tweaked to SMT liking, I'm just giving the idea/example.
    To make the hunting stand, you can use ingredients like any variant Timber Pallets, Steel Bars, Polymer, etc.

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: I've just saved hunting and ask for nothing in return

    Cons: Definitely going to require dev work to make it happen. But who knows?

    It's late at night in the state of Texas and I don't have night vision gloves. The Earth Mine all on it's own has 0 lights.

    Add lights to Earth mine and other dark areas of Texas

    Now, what i would really like is the permission that grants access to upgrade the warehouse property. If I wanted someone else aside from me to upgrade the warehouse, I would have to give them the asterik (*) which gives them all permissions.

    Solution on how to make this work?:
    Create a role in companies called 'WarehouseManage' (because there is already a command called 'Manage' that only allows you to add/remove people from the company) You could expand it further and add more specific permissions but this is the main one I wanted to address.

    Does anyone get the feeling of DeJaVu? Just me? Let's take a walk down memory lane.
    4.0! Introduction of the whitelisted factions, bitcoin mining and DIRTY MONEY! The idea for dirty money was cool; however, it would have never thrived in Arma. Why? Because people like doing their runs, uninterrupted and without jumping through extra hoops. Back then, you had to figure out through extensive role play means who the mafia was, how they functioned, what to say, etc. before you could start making money off of illegal runs.

    This feels like legal runs are being punished because 'too many people do them and they feel invulnerable to being robbed' I believe this change was pushed to not only limit the amount of people doing legal runs; but, to encourage people to do something other than legal contracts. However; regardless of what the true purpose or intent of it being pushed was, I believe all of the changes made are to 'shift the direction of the server'

     

    The exporter is just one of the many ways I can make money legally. I haven't seen a 155% contract in like 3 weeks. I haven't even seen 140%. Hell, I'm lucky if I even find above 135%. I've done the exporter practically everyday for the last 1.5 months. Lee has been doing a great job 'tweaking it' so I don't have a guaranteed chance of getting a good steel contract every time I go. When you put something behind a 'wall', it more often than not discourages people from look into it anymore.

    I am mining in the iron mine, it's late at night. It's extremely dark out and the only light I have to guide me is my vape pen. I wondered if there is a way I could see where I was going but still have the aesthetic of a Foreman working in the mine. Then it occurred to me, what if I had a 'Miner Headlamp' to help me see what I am swinging my pick axe at.

    i noticed from another Arma streamer these cool headlamps. I think it's easy to implement

    Pros & Cons?: Pros: More Foreman RP in the mine! Provides great utility not just inside a dark mine/cave. Could be used tactically to blind NVG's in a major.

    Description of situation:
    I am running steel like I always do. Upon arriving to the warehouse, I am held at gun point by 1 Felix Wilson of the Florida Kings. He restrains, strip searches me, makes a comment 'Oh, you're doing uranium?' Me clearly not in uranium clothing and no sign of a breathing apparatus, I say 'No sir, only steel'. He says 'Oh ok' only takes the demonic steel pick axe and runs away.
    I brought him to support for his negligence and clear disregard for the laws of the land. When asked for the pick axe back, he says 'I don't know where it is, I got robbed'
    With no way to give me my pick axe back and no way to pay me the money for it, I was forced to push for points. I am now requesting a new pick axe to replace the one that was wrongfully taken from me.

    My current suggestion is to swap the location of snow and the uranium processor. Reasons:
    1. It encourages people to use the hole in the wall more (more shooty shooty)
    2. It encourages more people to use Snow again. With Snow in it's current spot, nobody wants to sell to Snow because it's too far
    3. Snow and Uranium Trader would be fairly spaced from the Processor location.

    Cons: The requested location is kind of close to coal processor; but, coal weighs more than other materials and is not really done as a cash grab

    Very straight forward. What would it take to implement the same thing we have for pick axe's (bronze, cobalt, vibranium, etc.) and bring that concept over for the wood cutting axe's?

    Add the ability to make better versions of axe's

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: More stuff to craft. Adds a new way to progress your farming.

    Cons: Maybe it's intentional to not do the special crafted axe's?

    Hi, I speak on behalf of all steel miners. I would like a little more 'freedom' when I'm mining steel. I have my map open, I stop mining. However, when mining aluminum, I can have the map open and even get skill checks.

    Solution on how to make this work?:
    Rework steel mine

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: Lots of happy miners. People rejoice over the simple quality of life change.

    Clip for reference. Currently as it stands with the functionality of the warehouse, you are unable to lock the garage doors. You can lock every other door except all of these bad boys. We've had times in the past where people just walk into the warehouse from the garage door entrances because you can't lock the doors currently. This would be a massive win and gain for warehouse owners everywhere as this is a MUCH NEEDED feature.
     

    Solution on how to make this work?: Add lock functionality on the garage doors. Or better, make it to where the only people that can touch the garage doors are people that are attached to the warehouse.

    Pros & Cons?: Pros: Everyone that owns a warehouse/has access to one can FULLY lock and secure the warehouse. No more pesky intruders. No, please dont add this as a 'buyable addon'. This realistically should have already been a thing.

    Cons: The nerds that keep walking into my warehouse are gonna be pretty upsetti spaghetti

    Here's a better suggestion. As far as I saw, Opium doesn't exist in Texas (maybe I've looked in the wrong areas).
    Back in 2.0-3.0 you could go to a public opium field that worked as a gather/process/sell. Quick money. Pretty decent.

    This would only work, as Horizon has brought up, if they nerf the price of cocaine into the ground. Having a field that anyone can access with the current price of cocaine would RUIN the economy. I'd only be doing cocaine at that point. I'd never set foot in the exporter.

    Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: so a long time ago in an island far far away (before labs and rebel hideouts) there used to be a system in place in order for people to mine crypto from their house using BTC miners. At the time you could mine 5 different crypto currencies, 3 legal one and 2 illegal ones. The legal ones were sold to Brooksfield and traded amongst other players as a form of payment, the illegal ones were traded to gangsters at the time or the other WL factions. Adding this back I believe would show a better early game use for the graphics cards instead of them being thrown on the ground due to people not wanting to grind out for weeks and weeks just to get the stuff to set up a miner just to buy maybe 3 different guns. It would also be a great money sink for some of the rich players to buy them off people who have mined them aswell as setting up the rigs. 

    Solution on how to make this work?: bring back the crypto mining for houses even as an upgrade spot

    Pros & Cons?:

    Cons: may cause slight server lag as it loads in the object and causing the calculation on the database

    Pros: makes more player to player interaction from the government/other players in buying and trading in crypto as well as a money sink for players to invest in.

    I suggest capturing your target when no EMS are around. A rare opportunity, as it should be. The opportunity to bleed out a players character and have them lose valuable information shouldn't come as easy as your describing it in this suggestion.

    As a side note, I did ask for an option to 'demelon' people as a whitelisted faction (because we recently played taki) and was denied.

    My vote is -1 solely because I believe you guys are capable of thinking outside the box. However, I respect the suggestion as it is frustrating and I understand completely.

    However... if i were you and I was still in the position that i was 2-3 years ago, I'd push personally for a weapon that bypasses the respawn timer. Something incredibly special for whitelisted factions; something only to be used when the right situation calls for it. a 'death gun' if you will.
