  1. As the old mafia lead, we would run into the same issue in 4.0 and 5.0 with trying to bleed someone out. This led to us going to EXTENSIVE lengths to ensure we captured our bleed out target at the right time. 4.0 and 5.0 maps were HUGE in comparison to Texas and Florida.

I suggest capturing your target when no EMS are around. A rare opportunity, as it should be. The opportunity to bleed out a players character and have them lose valuable information shouldn't come as easy as your describing it in this suggestion.

As a side note, I did ask for an option to 'demelon' people as a whitelisted faction (because we recently played taki) and was denied.

My vote is -1 solely because I believe you guys are capable of thinking outside the box. However, I respect the suggestion as it is frustrating and I understand completely.

As somone who used to be and still is a majority combat player that enjoys RP, I hate runs, but have been doing them consistently to prep for class threes. And I know alot of people are doing runs to get everything set up and ready for when class 3s get added. This is a bad solution to a temporary problem. Give it a week or two, and you will have your combat again.

I personally thought Class 3's were coming with the mod pack update. Was just an assumption though.

Maybe I worded this wrong, but the purpose of this isn't to shit on people it's to state a pretty obvious fact. Constant runs and grinding hurts the server as there is less player interaction and less people doing anything other than sitting at steel mine holding F. I don't care about making everyone do combat I literally made this post bc I want to RP with people on the server and I cannot do that when I see the same 20-30 people every single day. I could care less about how much money you are making (Though I do think it's silly) what I care about is I have never once seen people like Nex, Trick, or various other Grinders on the server, I know they are on but I never interact with them. The server feels empty and I want to fix that.

    @Trick Sanchez @Michael Giuletto

This is an issue that should be fixed by our whitelisted factions. They've been RPing with us the past few days (we've also been fighting back and forth) but maybe they should hold more public events to interact with more people. Where's the mafia, gangsters and bikers when you need them?

Type of Suggestion?: (e.g. server suggestion, server rule suggestion.) Server Suggestion

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: (try use an example of what has happened in-game) As is even with the server pop being basically full I don't see fucking anyone all day, I see the same 10-15 people everyday and its honestly kind of draining. There is no player interaction at all. It makes no sense to me that we allow people to do truck runs for 10-15 hours every single day. It hurts the server in ways you don't even know. There needs to be something done about it or it will be Florida all over again. Economy will be fucked by the kids who have nothing else to do all day then sit at their computer and hit F and people will burn themselves out and leave by .5. Also with the people doing legal runs, we all know they are either doing the Exporter shit for tons of money or are stocking up to craft massive amounts of class 3's.

Solution on how to make this work?:
Add a rule that bans doing more than 3-4 runs a day or simply make it okay to rob the people doing legal runs.

    Pros & Cons?:

Pros: More player interaction, More people doing things other than runs (Robberies, ACTUALLY ROLEPLAYING)

Cons: Grinders Cry because they can finally be touched

    Hi, Grinder here;
I thought this issue got solved? Doug gave the W for Bischerman taxing the wall at steel mine since this doesn't break the rule "You can't rob legal runs' since they technically aren't robbing the run. They are taxing it. Refer to screenshot:

The reward is high once they can start crafting class 3s from the resources gathered from the runs they are stockpiling

Please tell me where you and others are getting this crazy claim that we're stockpiling weapons? Maybe other people are but I know I'm sure as hell not. Want to know what I've been doing? Exporter. That's it.
I wait for exporter contrracts to refresh at the top of the hour, then I grab the highest percentile one for steel. Steel pays more than earth. It's always been like that since 3.0 (maybe even 2.0 but I only played after 2.8)
I run steel from the mine to the gang warehouse. 'Gang' as in 15-20 people pooled money together and bought a 2 million dollar warehouse. Crazy right? Not really.
Guess what? We're still pooling money to get all of the perks for the warehouse. We have a steel processor which is why we only run steel.
So what does this contract entail? Well, this current contract I am on is for 6,000+ steel. A 600 slot truck holds 300 unprocessed steel. That's about 15-16 trucks (including inventory space). Contract was at 155% so at the end I'll get a great payday; but, at what cost?
It takes me no joke 12-14 hours to complete it. No normal person is going to do that by themselves. They might enlist friends so they can split it. It is safe to assume, that was the original purpose of these massive contracts.
However, you can't always get what you want. There has existed since 3.0 mind you, people like me,like Pug Winter, like Parker Snovle, like Riiken Tenkashie, like Sam Ryder and onel from the past to all the new grinders I've met today (Devin Rouge, The Alucard Brothers some to list). So listen up, because this is a message from us grinders.

You can't tell us how to play the game. We'll always be here. You're not stopping us.

The screenshots should speak for themselves. I've put a lot of time into not just Anzus; but, Arma in general. I was ranked (at the time when I first left in 5.5) #4 most played time on Anzus. I've had to pleasure of competing with Parker in his prime. I still have my 3rd place 3.0 and 2nd place 4.0 trophies for grinding. I was rewarded from the very start for doing what I do. I understand the function/mechanics on Anzus to a point I could more than likely write my own guide on it. Though on my streams, I may smoke weed (legally, recreational) and seem like a total goober, I'm Anzus smart.

Geez, I make a statement and you both took it way out of context as if I'm saying the idea was bad or something, because of his level? I really didn't even get how you drew your conclusions. My status also has no influence on the outcome of the suggestion. I could go to any suggestion and give it the same criticism as anyone else, but I didn't have anything pro or con to say for it at this time. Whatever helps you sleep at night boys.

Taken out of context? You made a shitty side comment about my friend and I'm defending him and his hard work.

I don't care what your thoughts on this suggestion is.

and you're right. Your snarky comment did contribute absolutely nothing to this thread :)

However, I never implied your status would have any impact on this/any suggestion, did i? Maybe you worded your original comment that started all of this wrong?

So, let me get this straight. You mean to say, you weren't trying to come off like a condescending a-hole when you made this comment?

Ok buddy, whatever helps you sleep at night :)

I see someone who enjoys playing the server a lot. The hell you mean 'Bro's already level 74...' as if you're trying to insult the man. AND YOU'RE A DEVELOPER. YOU HELPED CREATE (at least, I'm going to assume you actually do stuff for the server and you're not hogging the title for clout/fame) THE SERVER HE PLAYS.

and you actually had the audacity to make a comment like this?

    hahah... gross :)

  7. Type of Suggestion?: (e.g. server suggestion, server rule suggestion.) Server

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?:
Me and the boys pooled all of our money together recently and bought ourselves a warehouse so the gang can use it. Some of our boys don't have the big 600 storage trucks, so; we pass keys off to one another so everyone can use a 600 storage truck for their runs. But, what happens after tsunami? What happens when the people that own 600 storage trucks get off for the day? This got me thinking and the solution for this issue is one that I've personally seen and experienced.
As the title suggests, a public company system would fix the issues I've listed above along with other issues. It would add a whole new dynamic to the role play scene and I believe it would be a popular addition. This feature I'm suggesting was originally a feature on an Arma 2 Life Mod called City Life RPG from 2013. Here's how it would work:
Players would be able to purchase a company for $10,000
The owner can change ranks, add/remove people, change the company name, etc (everything you'd be able to normally do with a normal company.)
One of the main feature of the company would be the ability to store vehicles so that anyone with company access can pull out the vehicle of their desired choice. (ex. I want to store my 600 storage truck in the company so Pug can pull it out while I'm not around and use it)
Another feature of the company would be the ability for vehicles to retain the items inside of them (ex. I store my 600 truck full of steel in the company and Pug is able to pull it out with the steel still inside of it.)

Solution on how to make this work?: This will require some serious dev work; but, I believe this can be a very cool feature. Some of the things you'd have to try and prevent include but are not limited to:
    Vehicles/Items duping from the company
Ensuring the vehicles are returned to company's storage and not the player's storage (ex. I take Pug's 600 storage truck out of the company to use it, the tsunami happens and I wake up with his truck in my vehicle storage)

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros:
A new money sink is created for players who are looking to invest money into something that has the potential to make a huge return on their investment.

The opportunities for new players that join a company doubles and they gain more ways to make more money faster

    Cons:
Dev work (Not always a bad thing)
A new thing introduced isn't always guaranteed to work perfect the first go around. Players could use this to exploit a new dupe.

Amount your claiming: Insurance for the 600 storage truck (I'm not sure how much it's worth) Truck full of Unprocessed Steel (was on my way to processor in video)

Description of situation: Trying to find a shorter way to the steel processor, I was told that there was a bridge in dallas that I could take. Well, I guess I picked the wrong bridge, because it swallowed the truck whole and destroyed it. Not even my truck. I would like to cover the insurance.

    6. How did you loose the item you are requesting compensation for: : I received keys to my brand new business. To help get the business started, I wanted to transfer 100,000 of my own personal money to my business account. So I clicked transfer on my personal account. I only filled out the first line which was the number to transfer. Didn't leave a comment and didn't even leave a recipient. I'm shocked it actually let me send it. I later found out it would have been easier to just withdraw from one account and deposit into another. Asked a friend, he said I basically just sent 100K to the void.

  10. Here's my only issue with a full wipe (including skills and everything). It was proven to be impossible to get to Level 110 to obtain the No Toolkit perk. Why have a perk so high that no one will ever get it. Even with Parker on everyday, it still wasn't enough. Rework the leveling and perks (as much as I love Runescape) and I'd reconsider my answer. I voted no at 3.5 and I will continue to vote no for a wipe on 4.5. I would kinda agree to an economy wipe but please don't wipe levels. It already takes so much time just to grind up to the point where we are at.
To continue my emphasis on why levels shouldn't be wiped, is because we didn't wipe levels in 3.5, so why change that up now? At this point last year, Parker just managed to crest Level 100, something people thought was nuts until everyone started trying to do it and then you had the Top 25 players on the island all being Level 150+ by the end of 3.9. For me, this was ideal because the goal was reachable with a lot of hardwork. Let's do some math. Let's say a 3 million dollar truck of rubies nets you between 7k-8k. Each run without any of the processing perks will take you about 45 minutes to up to an hour depending on time constraints. For someone like me that is Level 81 and it takes nearly 228,000 experience to go the next level, I would have to do between 26-30 full trucks of rubies/steel/iron/earth to advance to 82. Since it's already netting close to an hour per run, it would take me more than a day to move to the next level. This is without perks dedicated just for processing because I'd love to talk about that too. It seemed to have been the popular option back in 3.5 to max your processing speed first and then the mining skill, the paychecks so on so forth. Now when you put all your points towards processing, you ask yourself "Will I be doing runs for the rest of my life to match the perks I've invested NEARLY 3/4 of my perk points into? or should I buy another perk point reset and chose better skills like repair speed or a longer bleed out time ?"
You can pick an answer; but, I guarantee you you're probably going to dislike whatever answer you pick because none of the rewards seem like the better option.
