-1 Feel like only KD should be able too craft high valued guns like these and they shouldn't be sold to civs so would only agree if it was mainly just cops that could get these, Once stolen would give you guys a chance to use them.

Cops don’t value.  And only a couple of cops would be able to buy from them, and you never see them.

So your suggestion is to make it civ sided, instead of an alternative that balances it?

There is no alternative that doesn't include reworking the entire inside of the major which will take a long time and dev work, my suggestion is a temporary fix to allow the major to be done and used until a finalized solution is created with an inside rework.

Sure, make Embassy the most overused Major again. There's a reason it was fixed. When there is an overwhelming amount of civilian wins vs cop wins, it's not the people.

It is not played whatsoever now, even cop mains who tried it on civ refuse to do it becomes it's so unbalanced now.  This is a terrible take IMO.  The major has been done twice since the start of 7.0, both times were cop wins.  That should tell you something.

  4. Type of Suggestion?: Server Suggestion

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: Radio frequencies shouldn't be reset after getting out of a heli.  Why is this a thing and what does it do for anyone except makes us have to switch radio freqs mid major and stuff lol

Solution on how to make this work?: Revert it

    Pros & Cons?

    Pros: Good
    Cons: None

So your saying closing one door is a good balance? It's not mate.

Civs do those majors because it's easy to hold and easy win.

Mint and national bank are the most broken majors ATM.

    Super easy to win 80%

National Bank has a 52% win rate roughly, it's the most balanced major there is.  You are just pulling things out of your ass.  The major isn't done whatsoever, I'd rather a hard major to win on cop than no one using the model they spent hours deving or paid for because its too hard for civs.

-1 I only see civs do Bank, Casino, Milship, Labs and Knox.
I never seen civs do Cargoship other 10 majors that are currently out there.

We are trying to fix the majors that aren't done bro because of clear balance issues

  7. Type of Suggestion?: Server Suggestion

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: Currently Embassy sucks for civilians.  It is a very rough major currently and is almost never done.  I suggest closing up the back door again on the third floor, or changing it someway to make it more balanced.

Solution on how to make this work?:

    Dev work

    Pros & Cons?:

Pros: Major is done more so its not wasted

    Cons: Harder for cops

yeah, regardless of the weapon, im almost 100% staff have ruled that as exploiting in the past

It used to be, but all of the sudden Jack Knight said SLT claimed it as "Intentional arma 3 mechanic" so here we are.

  9. Type of Suggestion?: Server Rule

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: People have just been sitting under the water a lot recently shooting cops that are outside the water with SDARS or just crouching under the water with normal guns and we are not able to shoot them whatsoever and half of the PD doesn't even have divers let alone wetsuits.  It just makes it so we have to either A) stand around or B) just leave the situation.

Solution on how to make this work?:

    Solution: Add Rule

    Pros & Cons?:

Pros: No abusing the water physics

    Cons: Idk

  10. Type of Suggestion?: Server Suggestion

Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: Stopwatch on phone or a button you can press to start a timer so cops can time how long till they can S1 and such.  Plus it's easier to have for evidence if its in game.

Solution on how to make this work?: Dev work, like always!

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: Good for cops
    Cons: Maybe fps problems?  Idk

When I first read this post it sounded like a pretty good idea but after reading all of your points you are right in my opinion especially as a fellow top crafter lol.

    XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Ahahahahahahahahahaha. If you can read the post right now and tell me how this is nerfing you I will give you 1 mil in game.

    just to clarify.

you are NOT losing anything that’s currently in either bench, if it is in the advanced workbench currently it will be moved to normal crafting and cheaper.

i used .300s as an example, if it’s in either benches it will not be in the new advanced crafting.

your current crafting level will stay the same and apply to only the normal workbench, and all your goals will still be there and same requirements.  I will make a proposed drawing when i get home.

    1. I don't believe there is enough advanced workbench weapons to fully separate the skill and start from 1 again. I'll cover another point with this, as 7.62 is not a near future thing that is coming back.

    2. Firing pins could be replaced with changing up the processed uranium in recipes to uranium bars or even diamond since no recipes use it. Keeps the weapon value up without actually having to spend a fortune for parts.

    3. Advanced workbench should stay in warehouses and bunkers. People spent a fortune mainly for storage and access to this.

    4. To sum the rest up, I don't think adding two crafting skills in would help, and a lot of people are already in that slow progression stage in leveling up. The struggle is more real for those who don't have an assembly line of workers feeding them resources. 7.62, all the magazines before and fun shit can be a later thing that gets trickled in. That will get balanced out some with what cops can access, but at the same time the people who put the effort in should be able to make their profits or have some fun with their weapons. I feel like yeeting the firing pins out and just changing it to another resource will be a better start to the solution.

There is no end game on anzus currently, that's more what this suggestion is pushing for.  Separating the two craftings, making one advanced and having suppressors, 7.62s, 6.5s like promets, etc.  But I get your point as in the present moment.  I can come up with 15 weapons/items that can go in advanced and just have it 15 levels but they are hard to grind, each level unlocks an item.  And the advanced weapon bench shouldn’t be every crafter feeding mk-1s, it’s for those going above and beyond.

    Also,

"Slower progression so the wipe lasts longer, will be harder to level advanced workbench"

There is 1 single person on the entire island that can even craft any of the guns that are relevant from the advanced workbench...

Yup.  And he can keep everything he has.  Just moved to normal workbench same lv requirements and not as expensive.  Whats the problem?  Also, it's not even 7.1

Some of my thoughts, sorry if they are hurtful :<
    -1

They aren't hurtful, just objectively wrong.  Because you're going off of the assumption the advanced workbench will have anything that is currently in crafting, it won't besides maybe honey badgers.  I have been told there is no 7.62, 6.5, etc in crafting.  Blood diamonds is because these higher tier weapons NEED a risk and NEED to be expensive.  They are very very strong.  Top 10 crafters won't lose anything as everything currently will be moved to normal crafting bench and they will keep their levels.  Firing pins will not be changed, just simply moved to these advanced weapons to make sure they stay expensive and allow normal 5.56 class 3s to go back to their original cheap price.

The only comment I will have to add, is there would have to be some trickle down as cops get better gear, for civs who don't have access to those resources. To my understanding(and please correct me if I am wrong) most weapon crafter are in-house(i.e they are gang members who make weapons for there gang and maybe 1 or 2 others). If that is the case, then there has to be some kind of trickle down over time. If it's not, please disregard

I know a few of the big gangs buy from out of house crafters as they are the highest levels, so I think it might be off to say that but I'm not sure as well.

I don't know much about civ life. All I can say is I'm getting clapped alot by dudes with crazy guns. I have heard a lot about the addition of the firing pins making weapons too expensive. I would be cool toning that down.

On the topic of larger caliber weapons, I don't like it. 99% of cops are 5.56. I understand that might change as the economy changes but I still don't like it. It would have to be very hard and very expensive

It will be.  It's a whole separate crafting level than the current one so everyone will restart, it costs a lot more, and it will take a very long time to upgrade, and I can write up a sheet so when civs starting using "x", cops are allowed "y" to match the caliber.
