  1. Type of Suggestion?: Server Suggestion

    Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: Stopwatch on phone or a button you can press to start a timer so cops can time how long till they can S1 and such.  Plus it's easier to have for evidence if its in game.

    Solution on how to make this work?: Dev work, like always!

    Pros & Cons?:
    Pros: Good for cops
    Cons: Maybe fps problems?  Idk

    just to clarify.

    you are NOT losing anything that’s currently in either bench, if it is in the advanced workbench currently it will be moved to normal crafting and cheaper.

    i used .300s as an example, if it’s in either benches it will not be in the new advanced crafting.

    your current crafting level will stay the same and apply to only the normal workbench, and all your goals will still be there and same requirements.  I will make a proposed drawing when i get home.

    There is no end game on anzus currently, that's more what this suggestion is pushing for.  Separating the two craftings, making one advanced and having suppressors, 7.62s, 6.5s like promets, etc.  But I get your point as in the present moment.  I can come up with 15 weapons/items that can go in advanced and just have it 15 levels but they are hard to grind, each level unlocks an item.  And the advanced weapon bench shouldn’t be every crafter feeding mk-1s, it’s for those going above and beyond.

    Yup.  And he can keep everything he has.  Just moved to normal workbench same lv requirements and not as expensive.  Whats the problem?  Also, it's not even 7.1

    They aren't hurtful, just objectively wrong.  Because you're going off of the assumption the advanced workbench will have anything that is currently in crafting, it won't besides maybe honey badgers.  I have been told there is no 7.62, 6.5, etc in crafting.  Blood diamonds is because these higher tier weapons NEED a risk and NEED to be expensive.  They are very very strong.  Top 10 crafters won't lose anything as everything currently will be moved to normal crafting bench and they will keep their levels.  Firing pins will not be changed, just simply moved to these advanced weapons to make sure they stay expensive and allow normal 5.56 class 3s to go back to their original cheap price.

    I know a few of the big gangs buy from out of house crafters as they are the highest levels, so I think it might be off to say that but I'm not sure as well.

    On the topic of larger caliber weapons, I don't like it. 99% of cops are 5.56. I understand that might change as the economy changes but I still don't like it. It would have to be very hard and very expensive 

    It will be.  It's a whole separate crafting level than the current one so everyone will restart, it costs a lot more, and it will take a very long time to upgrade, and I can write up a sheet so when civs starting using "x", cops are allowed "y" to match the caliber.

    Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?:

    • Remove the advanced workbench from everyone, refund their purchases, and move everything that is currently in advanced workbench over to the regular workbench

     

    • Remove firing pins from the normal crafting bench recipes

     

    • Require lv 50-60 crafting to unlock the advanced workbench

     

    • The advanced workbench has it's own leveling system therefore you will start at lv 1

     

    • You can only progress in XP on the advanced workbench by crafting advanced workbench weapons

     

    • These weapons WILL require blood diamonds and firing pins, and will be harder than regular crafting bench runs and these will be reverting back to their original state

     

    • These items will be the likes of .300, 7.62, ghillie suits, etc. (NO EXTENDED MAGAZINES, but SOST are okay :) ) (Let me make a clarification since people seem to not understand, these are examples, as stated above if they are in your current bench they will be moved over with the same lv requirements so you are not losing anything)

     

    • In turn, your normal class 3s will go back to their original prices, you will have to grind more yes for these advanced weapons, but these items you never had in your crafting benches in 7.0 (besides the honey badger if it is moved).

     

    • Slower progression so the wipe lasts longer, will be harder to level advanced workbench

     

    • Max profits from expensive and fun weaponry

    There will be a weapon caliber tab added to the major and civilians will select their highest caliber so cops know what to bring so we can match and not bring higher tiers to 5.56 majors.  Cops will not be given access to higher tier weapons until we see an influx of high tier weapons out and there will be benchmarks on what weapons will be given based on what is being out.  But this crafting system should take a LONG time to level so we don't see mk-1s in 4 days.

     

    Side note: If this does happen, cop SOPS should be relooked at in terms of raiding and dealing with BD as they will be a lot more common and such.

    I don't play civ anymore johnny and when I do I buy straight from rebel, and maybe you don't but everyone else did lol.  Just because we get cheaper guns doesn't mean it's not a problem or shouldn't be addressed, that's like me walking up to the vendor and seeing a gun for $1 and not telling the devs because I get it cheap.  Also, just because you got raided doesn't mean it's still not a problem that the majority of other crafters meta game sell guns.

    johnny you guys sold guns through discord and there was no way to catch you realistically until the gun was made.  Plz man 😂 You guys are acting like you don't/didn't have the easiest and most profitable thing on the island

    The clear intent is that they want crafting to only be profitable when risks are taken. Maybe the amount of uranium required could be lowered therefore same risk = more reward, but this is a roleplay server, unless thousands is spent in Dev time, there isn't going to be super realistic fixes for errors like this, especially if we recall that not long ago some Honey badgers were created and just wiped...

    The honey badger is an odd one out. Guaranteed two tap internally suppressed gun that was already being crafted and used by pvpers before 7.1.

    Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: The rule set is too much, too knit picked, etc.  We need to bring the rule set back to 4.0 or 3.0, with the obvious additions due to new content.  But it feels like EVERYTHING has a rule regarding it.  Rules need to be reduced by a lot imo, and everyone needs to be on the same page.  It feels people worry more about being reported/reporting others than just playing and enjoying their time like it was in 3.0 and 4.0.  People aren't learning from their mistakes as people are just bitching over every single knit picked rule. People need to talk more to figure out their problems which I know there is ideas in the works for this and I hope it comes, it's really good it just feels like there is so little communication between everyone about everything.  (This is just my opinion don't hang me over it).

    I'd also like to bring attention to this old suggestion by Eren 

    Solution on how to make this work?: Reduce the rule set, or replace them with 3.0/4.0 ruleset with obvious additions for new content.

    It shouldn't matter to you if you are on certain cop freq, radios are being a bit iffy when sometimes its stuck on replacing your radios non-stop, the current solve to that is just to drop it and pick it back up we are looking into it.

    It does matter if I'm at a major and get out of a heli and I'm randomly on .1 instead of .3 :)

    Please explain what the suggestion is about and why you're posting it?: every time you get out of a heli it resets your radio freq (or it does on cop at least)

    Solution on how to make this work?: idk fix or revert how it used to be
